EasyBCD is a little app that lets you easily switch between operating systems on the same PC.
If you need to switch between operating systems regularly - maybe to test a program or use a particular application, it's a pain to keep changing computers. That's where EasyBCD comes in - it allows you to dual boot your system (boot with multiple operating systems) and then switch between the different systems seamlessly.
EasyBCD is geared for users of all kinds - you might want to add an entry to your old XP partition, for example, or just want to create a duplicate for testing purposes. Alternatively, you might be interested in debugging Windows and need to make sure you've got a backup operating system to revert to if something goes wrong.
EasyBCD's wizards take you through the setup process, which is fairly easy depending on your knowledge of bootloaders. The amazing thing is, there seems to be no operating system that EasyBCD can't install - it supports Windows 7, Windows Vista, older versions of Windows such as XP & 2003, Linux, Ubuntu, BSD, and even Mac OS X. You'll then be able to load your systems from various sources, including USB drives and ISO files.
